This classic Chinese cabinet is finished in a lovely warm elm colour. The tapering 'A-frame' profile of this wardrobe gives a wonderful sense of fluidity and movement from floor to top. This type of cabinet was common throughout China where large versions like this were used to store clothes and other items. The originals would include only shelves as the Chinese would fold their clothes when being stored, but ours includes a wooden hanging rail as well three removable shelves. It therefore works perfectly as either a sleek, modern wardrobe or as a more general storage unit. Two bottom drawers provide extra useful storage space, each one having a brass handle with decorative pin and tassel.
